In Deobi Fic Exchange, participants will be assigned to write a gift fic for another participant. Everyone who submits a fic will receive a fic in return, all made with love 🩷Deobi will be matched via their preferences in pairings, tropes, and tags. To do this, each participant will submit a sign-up form detailing three prompt requests. Participants will be able to note specific preferences in both writing and receiving fic, including "wants" and "do not wants", as we aim to ensure that this exchange is comfortable for you as both a writer and a recipient. We will do our best to match you based on your preferences!We welcome all ratings, all TBZ ships (including poly), and all the settings that you could possibly dream of! This is a perfect opportunity to pass on brainworms that you maybe haven't been able to write yourself, and to get exactly what you've been craving... 🤭In the spirit of Love Letter, we encourage prompts to be inspired by Valentine's Day! Secret admirers, written confessions, first dates or long-term couples trying something new... any kind of love your heart desires 💋🍫💐

💌GUIDELINES💌

  • The minimum word count for submitted works will be 1500 words.

  • Fics will initially be posted anonymously until all fics have been revealed. As such, we encourage writers to remain anonymous during the writing period to keep their gift a surprise!

  • There will be two check-ins throughout the writing period. We will not be asking for minimum word counts, but rather general updates on your progress to make sure that the fest is running smoothly.

  • As of now, we will be accepting fics featuring Haknyeon and OT11. We kindly ask that participants are respectful to those who wish to include Haknyeon in their works. If you are not comfortable writing or receiving any member, you will be able to indicate this on the sign-up form.

  • Please check over the timeline and make sure that you are able to commit to the fest. Because this is an exchange, we want to make sure that everyone who submits a gift will also receive one in return. We understand that things come up, so if you have any concerns about completing your submission, please let us know ASAP 🩷

  • Lastly, have fun writing and spreading love with your fellow Deobi ficdom! :)
