What is a fic exchange?
In a fic exchange, participants will write a gift fic for another participant based on their "wishlist", or prompt requests. Everyone who submits a fic will receive a fic from another participant in return! 💝How will participants be matched?
All participants will submit a sign-up form detailing their prompt requests, as well as preferences in both writing and receiving fics. These preferences will include pairings, tropes, and tags. We will do our best to match up writers and recipients based on their preferences!What kind of prompts can I request?
We welcome all ratings, all TBZ pairings (including poly), and all the prompts that you could possibly dream of! This is a perfect opportunity to pass on brainworms that you maybe haven't been able to write yourself... 👀In the spirit of Christmas in August, we also encourage prompts inspired by the summer season, the Lip Gloss MV, or the Phantasy Pt.1 album!

  1. The minimum word count for submitted works will be 2,000 words.

  2. This fic exchange will run similarly to a Secret Santa exchange. As such, writers will remain anonymous until after all fics have been posted and revealed.

  3. There will be two check-ins throughout the writing period. We will not be asking for minimum word counts, but rather general updates on your progress to make sure that the fest is running smoothly!

  4. Please check over the schedule and make sure that you are able to commit to the fest. Because this is a fic exchange, we want to make sure that everyone who submits a gift will also receive a gift in return! 💝

  5. Have fun writing and celebrating Christmas in August with your fellow deobi ficdom! :)
